First of all I guess I should probably apologise for not updating this blog for a while. I must admit that this wasn’t exactly the way I wanted to kick-off running this blog but I have been rather busy working on the I Need Discipline blog. November was my first fall month in charge of these blogs and I really wanted to put my name all over them.

With the I Need Discipline blog I think I am slowly, but surely, starting to do that. If you have visited it recently then you will have noticed I have started posting more regularly and it has a rather nice design which has been getting a lot of nice comments from visitors.

I have a few more things on that blog to tweak and then I will be moving onto this one.

I was hoping to persuade Dean to drop a few posts for me until I could get things rolling, but after finding out that he was in hospital I don’t really think it would have been right to ask him to do that.

I met up with him last week and went to see Five Finger Death Punch & Shadows Fall in Camden. I say ‘met up with him’ I think I saw him for about five minutes as he went right to the front while I stayed at the back away from the madness. I caught glimpses of him bouncing around like a loon.

I will say one thing for 5FDP, Ivan Moody is an excellent singer. I will probably be lynched for saying this but I think he could be the best singer on the metal scene at the moment. If you haven’t heard them then I’d suggest listening to either of their albums. They are freely available on Spotify.

I’ve almost finished my Christmas shopping, I’m pretty happy about that. I think this year must be the first time that I have bought all my Christmas presents online, not a single one from a local shop.

A couple of them were for business associates online and I cheekily wrote them off as business gifts. Not sure if that will stand up when April comes rolling around but we shall see.
