So Close to an Upset

My dad’s bag that he has on the back of his wheelchair has finally bitten the dust. He uses it for carrying his food and drink when he goes to hospital three times a week for his dyalisis treatments and now he is having to use my football bag until I can get him a new one. I’ve had my eye on a couple of custom cinch bags so that when one rips he will immediately have a spare.

Custom House 5s were back in action tonight and unfortunitely we couldn’t continue the good form we were experiencing before our forced break, we lost to Mustard 3-2, we had played them earlier in the season and were narrowly defeated 2-1. They were a very good side and we almos matched them, but fitness just wasn’t there for us. I was pleased to get on the scoresheet with a lovely nutmeg of the keeper, that’s five for me this season – I’m on fire. đŸ™‚

I’m feeling it a bit now though. My legs are very tired and I have foolishly agreed to another training session tomorrow evening with another team called Custom House Community FC (not to be confused with Custom House FC), I am desperate to get as much training under my belt as possible, but as Chris said to me tonight, I need to make some time to recover or I’ll get injured, I’ll make sure to rest Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. đŸ™‚
