Food Poisoning & A Visit To Hastings

I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been busy fooling people into paying me to write for stupid people who believe that I have any writing talent that is worth parting with money for. But don’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, let’s see how long I can go before I am found out. 🙂

I have also been ill with food poisoning which has not been fun, at one point I was in such a rush to get out of bed to be sick that I skidded out of my room and slammed straight into the bathroom door and knocked myself out. I laid on the passage floor for a good 20 minutes before I came to my senses.

I wasn’t quite over it when my girlfriend came to stay, thankfully the nasty stuff was over by the time she turned up, I’m not sure it would be very romantic for her to see my shitting and vomiting every five minutes.

I was well enough to take her to Hastings on Saturday and, despite the best efforts of a seagull trying to cave my skull in with a starfish, we made it back safely with some pictures.

  1. People with weak immune systems [including the elderly and very young] are frequently cautioned not to eat foods that are perfectly safe for most people, like runny egg yolks and meat that is at all pink.

    1. I never knew that, I always thought eggs were a good weay to boost your system. I can’t eat them anyway as anything dairy flares up my psoriasis.

  2. Hello, food poisoning can be nasty 🙂 i also had food poisoning last month and it was awful. Glad to see you are alright now.

    Stay healthy,

  3. I actually dug into a chicken leg/thigh once that had blood pouring out of it! I stuck it back in the oven and realized later I hadn’t changed forks before eating it. I didn’t notice a thing.

    1. Oh that is disgusting! I used to live on chicken burgers until I bought one from a shop and it was still cold and pink in the middle! Gone right off them.
