I was watching television last night with my wife when one of those teleshopping adverts came onto the screen. You know the ones I’m talking about? The ones that last for about thirty minutes and have celebrities you’ve never heard of plugging the products?

As you will know, if you have read this blog recently, she is very much into losing weight (no matter how many times I tell her she looks perfect the way she is) and this particular infomercial was about a product called an AED.

I’ve seen these before, apparently you strap pads to your body and it sends electric currants through your body helping you tone up and thus lose the fat.

Has anyone tried one of these before? Do they work?
