The only good thing about today was that I slept in until about 1pm, meaning I had got half the day out of the way. It feels weird sleeping in on a Sunday instead of getting up at the crack of dawn (lovely girl that Dawn) to play football for Acton Town.
Wayne (my brother) was meant to come down today with a replacement mobile phone, he never came down. I knew he would not bother, the guy is a such a fat lazy cunt. He will only do something if he benefits in some way from the deed.
I was really bored today, I took the dog over the park for an hour. As she ran amock, and chased the birds, I realised how old she was getting and that she won’t be with me for that much longer. That put me in a bit of a sour mood.
I bumped into someone I had not seen for around 15 years.
Her name was Christine and she used to have a huge crush on me when we were younger (I was about 13 and she was about 10 at the time). She was part of the hated McCarthy family that have been stealing and burgling their way around our estate for the past 20-odd years.
I did not speak to her but she kept staring at me as I was waiting to be served in the shop. Later on, when I went out for some beer, I had to squeeze past her because she was standing in the doorway to our block with her mates, I swear she deliberately backed into me as I slid past her…
A really boring day. Several times I went to phone Reiss to ask if he fancied a pint and realised he was in Ireland. Maybe I should start visiting some of my old friends again now that Reiss is away in “the land of Guinness.”
Channel Four had a programme on called the Top 50 One Hit Wonders. That was awesome. That was probably the highlight of my day. I hate Sundays!
I am running the 2018 London Marathon to raise money for Livability UK in memory of my dad. If you can I'd appreciate any donation you can spare. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/deansaliba
