Days Without Alcohol: 26

I have spoken about diet pills in the past and I have received a couple of emails to ask me if I have actually taken these pills myself. After the twenty minutes it took for me to get over the feeling that I had just been insulted I thought I’d reply here rather than through email.

I’ve never taken any form of diet pill, for me dieting is mainly starving myself until i have lost a noticable amount of weight. I know that is potentially dangerous but there you go.

Although I have never taken a diet pill I do have friends who have taken diet pills such as Leptovox and a lot of them swear by it and some don’t.

I am sure if you do a quick search on Google that you will find reviews on almosy every diet pill that you can think of. This is much safer than taking advice form a misanthrope. đŸ™‚

I am running the 2018 London Marathon to raise money for Livability UK in memory of my dad. If you can I'd appreciate any donation you can spare.

  1. Dean that is funny man. Firstly the part that you felt insulted… dont take it personally. Got the same thing on one of my other blogs about health and at that time I was still a professional bodybuilder! Ironic isnt it?

Keep it up. Running through your blogs now and checking them out!

  2. @Jacques – I laugh about it now but at the time, people should think more about how they are going to say something. lol

@lisa marie – Very true, always do plenty of research before taing ANY medication. That is basic common sense.

Thanks for dropping by guys. đŸ™‚

  3. Almost every medication is potentially dangerous – even seemingly harmless ones like asprin and Tylenol. I have never taken any diet pills either, going with the whole “if it sounds to good to be true it probably is” motto towards them.

Starving yourself though is not a good way to lose weight! Actually it can mess up your metabolism and make you gain weight faster after you stop starving yourself!

Chelles last blog post..Is Obesity Contagious?

  4. @Chelles. I think your blog might be of some use to my brother who at 23 is about 30 stone.

I’ll check it out myself in the morning.

    Thanks for dropping by. đŸ™‚

  5. I’ve been trying to lose weight for months. Pills, diets, programs… nothing proved helpful! By the end I realized that I had to change my eating habits and work out. I’m losing a pound every week by eating five-hundred calories less than I burn each day đŸ™‚
