I put my foot firmly in it yesterday. I was talking to someone on Facebook in Greek (I was cheating, I was using Google’s language translator) and also Maltese (not cheating here, I’m learning it). Nothing that I would consider offensive but apparently this person did not find it funny and obviously thought that I and a few others were taking the piss out of her Greek roots.

She got quite angry and although she did not mention me it was quite obvious I was on this list of people. I tried to apologise but I guess you can only upset and offend someone a set amount of times before your apologies become obsolete and more worthless than UK currency.

I’m thinking of getting a t-shirt printed with “Warning: The contents of this t-shirt may offend and upset you!” on the front of it.

I posted up a poem that I wrote when I was about 15. Don’t fret, it will not be something I’m going to do on a regular basis. I posted it because a couple of people did not believe that I used to write poetry and songs in my youth. Although I’m not sure how this will prove it as I could have stolen that or written it five minutes ago.

It seems that almost everyone I know is going to be descending on Camden Town on Friday. Thes, Reiss, Billy, John, Vicky & Amanda are going to The World’s End, I know a couple of people who are going to various gigs dotted around the place and I’m going to be there myself.

I had planned on going to a small gig and then heading to a pub called Quinn’s, I like that pub as it has lots of different beers on offer. But I’ve just learned that the gig has been pulled so it looks like I’ll just go to Quinn’s and see how much tequila flavoured beer I can consume until closing time. đŸ™‚

Sometimes it is nice being on your own. At least there is no chance of me offending myself. đŸ™‚

  1. Gah! You did not offend me. Dean I swear I am going to kick you. To be honest you are offending me by saying you offended me. So ner!

    1. I think after the way I annoyed you on Friday night you might have changed your mind. đŸ˜³

Sorry, I do that when people get ‘too close’. đŸ˜¯
