The diet is still alive and kicking and I’m slowly starting not to miss the bad naughty unhealthy things that I had been craving so badly for at the start of the week. I don’t mind admitting that I am incredibly proud of myself for managing to stick to the diet for as long as I have.
I arrived at football training half an hour early so I managed to get in some pre-training running in for 30 minutes, I managed to do more than I did the previous week and didn’t feel nearly as tired afterwards, so my fitness is slowly improving.
For the training match they decided to play me as a striker, a position that I am unfamiliar with, but often thought I could do. I managed to score two goals and set one up, not bad for a fat bastard who is so shit that he isn’t good enough to play for a team who loses double figures every weekend. 🙂
Despite playing really well I’m not looking at the possibility of starting on Sunday as they have still not registered me as a player, but it is just nice to be able to continue playing at my age in any capacity.
