My girlfriend met me at the coach station and despite my childish attempt to pretend she wasn’t there I was unable to shake her off and she grabbed me as I got to the entrance, we headed for a beer in a local pub, as it had been five hours since my last pint and I was gasping, and I was delighted to discover the pub served Black Sheep!

It had been her daughter’s 24th birthday the Sunday before so we planned on a night out with her at a nightclub called Escape, I didn’t think arriving at 6:30pm would be a good idea and my initial fear was correct as there was only me, my girlfriend, her daughter, her daughter’s friend (a last-minute addition) and the barman. Thankfully it picked up a bit so the girls were happy to leave me to watch the England/San Marino game on the TV.

We had to leave at about 10:30 as the daughter had a bit too much to drink and got upset at the barman for not wanting to kiss her so we called a taxi and decided to go to a different pub to meet up with a couple more of her friends. We made it for last orders and managed to down a couple of drinks before we walked home.

During the walk home the daughter got into an argument with her friend and we heard a “thud” as we turned round we saw the daughter laying spark out on the pavement in the snow, she had “fainted” and smashed her face on the pavement.

Someone called an ambulance while I put her in the recovery position (while attempting this I accidently exposed her breasts to the world) and placed coats and an umbrella over her to keep her warm and the snow off her while we waited over 20 minutes for the ambulance. After a bit of an altercation the paramedics allowed me and my girlfriend to accompany the daughter to hospital.

While we were waiting in the cubicle I stole the daughter’s wheelchair and when the doctor came around to examine her I was pushed into the corridor in the wheelchair and passed the time talking to a guy who had his finger torn off when someone slammed a door on his hand.

We didn’t get out of the hospital until gone 5:30am, we ordered another cab and I carried the daughter into her house and my girlfriend stripped her and put her to bed. As we walked home I told her I might book my coach home in the morning.
